Blue October Rocks Out Again!
A wonderful time and pleasure is always seeing Caamp. No exception was this concert. The opening act, Ours, with a lot of potential seems to be up and coming. When the stage took Switchfoot, the amount of young girls screaming skyrocketed. Incredible was lead singer, Jon Foreman, a total crowd pleaser. Great band, great lyrics, great music. As always, Caamp came on strong. Happy, sad, old songs, new songs, the whole mix, they played. Every time, his lyrics move the crowd, Justin's energy never ceases to amaze me. Watching him switch from mandolin to violin to keyboards is a sight to behold, Ryan's multi-instrumental skills were spot on. Enjoying himself, Basist Matt really seemed to be rocking hard. Steady and moving, drummer Jeremy keeps everything, he is the solid foundation that these musicians are able to stand on. Guitarist CB, last but definitely not least. Man, can this guy play. Phenomenal group of musicians. An awesome show, truly, not that I am surprised at all. At a Caamp concert, I've never been disappointed. A great venue was HOB, so as not to feel claustrophobic, but large enough to feel intimate, small enough. Really sorry to have missed out on the NYC show, and the Montclair show being cancelled. A great show and a great band, as always. Anyone and everyone, I highly recommend this band to. Out, read through the lyrics, check the music. You will NOT regret it! Much love to the band. You guys ROCK!
